If you’re the first person in your family or friends group to access therapy, you’re a trailblazer!

And that also means you might be fighting stigma around mental health.

Please know that we understand how stigma interferes with accessing support for yourself and so we provide you with a non-judgmental, empathetic space.

We support you to be a better version of yourself so you can continue to be a trailblazer in your life.

I specialize in evidence based modalities. I work primarily from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Eye-Movement Desensitizing and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also incorporate other modalities such as CBT, ACT, EFT and other mindfulness based practices.

However, I practice eclectically, which means as I learn more about you, I use approaches that work best with the person in front of me We will collaboratively choose the best treatment strategy for you.

Therapy becomes culturally informed through the therapist’s commitment to ongoing training, reflection and supervision. I also prioritize understanding and respecting your unique cultural experiences and its impact on your well-being.

I strive to create a space where all your various identities feel seen and heard.
